Just a quick visit before a trip to the vets,the dog is pacing the room dont think he's looking forward to it either!

Shezz - I hope your dogy is ok after the vets visit. I'm lucky in that both of ine don't mind going and make such a specatacle of themselves when they're there they just ahve to be seen by the vet to get them to shut up.

Billy never takes Mason to the vets does he??? thats why the dog is so happy to see him, he thinks he never puts me through that, lol, just found out Adie will be in Turkey same time as us, dont know who he is going with????

Am fine babs, just done ironing, then getting stuff ready to pack tomorrow, bit of cleaning, then going to chill, soon as packing done tomorrow I will consider myself officially on holiday

Thats one place I haven't been to. I've been to Cyprus and at Faumagusta looked accross to the Turkish border, but thats the nearest I've been.

Don't forget your tickets, passport & your toothbrush. Pack a small overnight kit into your hand luggage just in case of emergency.

Other than that - have a great time. You're going just out of the standard tourist season, so it should be quieter than peek times.

Don't like peak times, lol, been a few times so know my way around and have friends there, went in May, but it is back end of season so plenty of bargains to be had, and I am a good haggler, but all in fun, Turkish can have a lot fun haggling,

Have a great time - I want to hear all the gossip about it when you get home.

dog was ok at the vets, hes going back on monday to have an op so he wont be happy then!!

although last time we were there he managed to start a riot with the other 10 dogs who were there... not good and rather embarrasing!!!

fingers crossed it will be empty on monday haha

full of cold and flu symptoms today so tinterweb is my only source of contact with the ouside world.. boo was in bed for 630 last night.. on a friday too!! what is that all about!!!

I hope your dog is better behaved on Monday - I have one that really makes a spectacle of himself every visit to the vets - we have to time the appointments just before closing, or wait outside if there are too many already waiting. Its not that he's nasty to other dogs, but just noisy - by his nature he is very vocal and 'speaks' a lot. He is the same in the vets - he gets impatient at having to wait his turn - which is worse when they are running behind time - and 'shouts' at everyone else as they come out or go in to see the vet before him. When its his turn, I can let the lead go, and he'll just charge full steam into the consulting room, patiently have his eye checked, or whatever nereds seeing to, then charge back out to the car without paying - good job I've got the money.

So - all in all, you're not on your own with a 'crackers' dog.

Hellooooo, I'm back, wish I could say am raring to go but need to catch up on my sleep, anyway, had a fantastic time, it chucked down on friday, lol, while we heard it was blazing here, it was still very warm though, met 3 more couples who we knew from Bradford
